Steelheart by brandon sanderson

I'm not really sure if its young adult but it turned to be pretty good.

I read Steelheart and really liked it. It's a nice twist on superheroes. It's a pity there aren't many books super powers out there. I think I've read pretty much all of them.

I also recommend Steelheart. What a fun book!

The .4 series by Mike Lancaster. It's really unique.

gone series by Michael grant
cherub series by Robert muchamore (if you like Alex rider, you'll love this)

harry potter, eragon , Percy Jackson (all really well known books if you haven't read them)

You certainly can't go wrong with most of the early Robert Heinlein books:
Between Planets
Red Planet
Star Beast
Double Star
The Rolling Stones
Time for the Stars

Then there is the entire David Starr Space Ranger series by Isaac Asimov:
David Starr Space Ranger
Lucky Starr and the Pirates of the Asteroids
Lucky Starr and the Oceans of Venus
Lucky Starr and the Big Sun of Mercury
Lucky Starr and the Moon of Jupiter
Lucky Starr and the Rings of Saturn

Both of these series date back to the 1940s to 1960s and are somewhat dated but are still fun for young readers.
