I'm looking for some help to S-off my HTC ONE M8 which has Marshmallow factory installed. With S-off, I'll be able to root my device and ideally, I'll also would like to unlock the boatloader as well.
However, since HTC has tightened some features with the Marshmallow update, currently none of the all-in-one rooting apps I could put my hands on are able to gain root privileges.
The problem I'm facing with is that I don't have access to a computer. If I had one, I would have rooted my device already.
I was wondering if someone here could find an exploit and put it in an app to S-off and to remove the boatloader as well, like what the app "AutoRec" does for the LG G2 and G3.
I apologize in advance if this isn't the correct forum.
Of course, I tried to find help on XDA for my specific issues but there isn't a solution, yet, without going through a computer.
I can offer 200 WRZ as a reward if you could help me with my problem.
