I used to play this one word Android game. I am pretty sure the title was one word, you would play against the CPU placing armies in areas, if you place more then them, you take over that part of the map. It is a turn base game. I am sure the maps are green.

It was a top down view , not very good graphics. Not a very complicated puzzler.

I know it is a long shot. Any ideas anyone?

Getting closer ! I am starting to remember parts of the game now, you take turns placing a player on a space, then you can attack or take over an adjacent space if you have more people .. similar to the mechanics of risk .. There was no cards, and I do not believe there was any kind of dice on the attack.

I wish I could remember more!
