So whenever I try to load a game, the app just closes immediately. I've seen countless videos and guides that tell me I just need to download the apk file, and the games work fine. The demo works perfectly. If it matters, I have an RCT6873w42 with Android 6.0.1.

Also, just a quick question: I read somewhere that Free DS Emulator for Android 6 is based on a really old version of DraStic. Is this correct? Because that one doesn't work either.

Thanks, I'll see if it works, but some quick google searches only gave me download links for versions 2.2 and up. I'll keep searching, but I haven't found anything for versions older than that.

Thanks, if only I was rooted :[. Guess I'll have to bust out an old HTC and hope that stupid Sunshine root is free now instead of his lame $100 or whatever.

Hey, if it helps, I don't have a rooted device and DraStic works perfectly, the only thing is that I still get confused with the save function. I'm using Android 6.0 (this phone is not particularly old but here in Brazil it's what we get).
I downloaded DraStic from Mobilism and it works well enough. I mostly played Ace Attorney but I tested other games. I had to delete the app but I'll download it again. I even tried games with videos/FMVs and I had absolutely no problems.

From what I read on the Drastic forum it is older games that do not work as they are encrypted

This is a DSi game, and DraStic only emulates the original NDS

DraStic does not currently support DSi emulation.

Apparently you can download and replace the BIOS files in the Drastic system folder - take a look at the Drastic faq and forums
