Please suggest any Android apps that can apply these effects (different apps for each need is okay).

1) I need to apply a shadowy border (or vignette) to my video.

This effect exists in many Android image editing apps. But I can't find it in video editing apps.

2) I need the ability to create a thin black bar stretching across the entire video. Within this, I need the ability to add text.

There is a text style in the InShot app which places text within a black bar. But expanding the bar also expands the text, which I don't want.

So I'm thinking this would need to be an app that allows placing such a shape on top of the video. Then a text layer over it would create the effect.

Unfortunately, I can't find a video editing app that allows us to place customizable shapes over videos.

Hey, if you want to make simple loaders from templates similar to what you described above, go with PixelFlow.
But if you want more control over things and work with layers, get VivaCut. It has all the features that you described above.
You can find both on Mobilism.

Thank you so much for those recommendations.

In VivaCut, do you know where the vignette/shadow border effect is located?
I see a border effect. But it's a solid color - not the shadow kind.

That PixelFlow app looks very exciting for text work! Can't wait to try it!

Hey, in VivaCut when you click on a video and then click on "Adjust", you can find a "Vignetting" setting on the far right. You can then adjust its value accordingly to get what you want.

Sorry for the late response good sir. I was getting SQL errors posting replies to this topic.

Anyways the VivaCut vignette setting is exactly how you described. One more time thanks for the suggestions!
