I only found .srt support, I need to hardsub styled subtitles (.ass extension), some apps I tried supports loading .ass but output are subs without style (.srt).

I had the same problem. Using the program WinAvi worked for me. I also learned to use Subtitle Edit to create Srts styled. You select all the lines, then you choose the font and the color font using the menu you open with the mouse right button/right-click. After that you save again the subtitle. I think it's the same or similar with other subtitles editors. Hope it helps.

My WinAVI is WinAVI All In One Converter version 1.6.3.4360. I couldn't paste the screen image here :-/
