Hi, I need a extremely lightweight sms app. I am on Samsung Galaxy Ace running 2.3.3. I need something lighter even than chompsms and pansi. No special features necessary except that it needs to be able to repeat the sms sound every x minutes until the message is read. Don't recommend stock+some re notify app, I tried that.

have you tried go sms pro I think it is light weight and will serve the purpose you are seeking.

Go SMS Pro is definitely NOT lightweight, it has become quite bloated with each "update".
