I have a couple questions with respect to Aldiko & Moon+Reader.

I recently graduated from a Pandigital 7” Multimedia ereader to a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3. I'm completely smitten- but my main use of it is for reading. My husband and son had Tab 2, and I was a little disappointed to find the tab 3 is even more narrow than the tab 2- which is itself, about an inch narrower than the Pandigital was in terms of reading ebooks. As a result, I feel like I'm turning the page every 20 seconds, so I was thrilled to find Moon+ has auto scroll.

However, between the two, I gravitate towards Aldiko. According to this WikiPage,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Android_e-book_reader_software

Moon+ is actually more feature rich, but aesthetically, I just like Aldiko better, and I also felt that the Moon+ app was a lot hinkier when importing books to the library, vs. Aldiko (to be fair, it could just be the result of the technologically inept user).

But, then there's that auto-scroll thing. I really, really love it.

Everything I've read thus far says Aldiko has no auto-scroll, but a lot of the articles were a year or more old. I was wondering if, by some miracle, a plug in existed that allowed me to auto-scroll with Aldiko? I have played with the margins and all that, and I know it's also probably just a matter of adjusting to the new format after three years of another, but Aldiko is so great, I know other people must have thought the same thing.

Also, less important, but is it possible to create a “recently read” shelf above my other shelves, like I had on the Pandigital? Pandigital gave you the top shelf for the last 5 books you'd read, but allowed you to organize all the shelves below them by your preference of author, title, date added, etc.. - Aldiko and Moon+ don't seem to have this- you can create a recently read library, but it's a separate screen from the “all” books library screen. That issue is not a biggie though.

Lastly: I have the free versions of both. According to everything I've read, neither one really has a major difference other than being ad-free with premium.
Since I seldom buy books, but have a large library I manage with Calibre, I don't even see the ads with Aldiko, and while Moon+'s ad's are a little more annoying, I'd like to wait to upgrade until I know which of the two (Aldiko or Moon) I'm going to use permanently. Are there any other major differences for the premium in either, outside ad-free?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
