Details:
My phone is an LG L38C tracphone that is not activated with tracfone & used via Wifi only.
It has Android 2.3.6 and it is one for which there's almost no alternate ROMs.
It is rooted.
I tried installing Xposed for this version and could not get it done.

In most ways it is fine for a tiny, limited phone - all I need really - BUT:
I've got big, clumsy hands & old eyes & its statusbar is so tiny that I can neither read it nor open it directly.

I've looked around for apps to change the statusbar in hopes to make it bigger or even hide it to use widgets instead - but nothing has helped.

Any pointers - clues - apps - or education will be greatly Appreciated !!
