TT Rider V2 can use any 6.75 map (it recongizis the copied Maps!!) but the problem is that the TT Rider Keyboard isn't changeable and therefore there is no spacebutton available to put the spaces between generated different 5-digit activation codes......

The result is that the generated codes aren't accepted, also not without the spaces
....

This is strange, because what the key generator does is generate a valid key for the map, as if you had bought it. Then if you buy a Teleatlas map it means you won´t be able to activate it in a Rider? How did you do when you activated the map coming with your Rider?

Anyway, as thunderfruit says, you can share the Navteq map and maybe we can work out a solution

Any suggestions or fixes ??

Figured out what the problem was.

I had placed the "new" map on a piece of crap generic SD card.

Once I reloaded onto a Sandisk 2GB , this version runs just as fast as before.

LEARNED a lesson: there is most deffinatly a difference in the quality of flash cards. cheap= sucky performance

U.S. users ? Is anyone noticing this new version has indeed updated newer roads ??

You're right, he's not following the instructions.
The fact is you don't need to use a space bar on any TT device.
The spaces are not part of the code.
There are 3 blocks of 4 characters. To go from one block to another you don't use a space.

It doesn't help you much, but the code you have generated is the correct code.
Usually all codes are entered without any spaces, but looks like Tomtom are making efforts to prevent generated codes / copies of maps from working - the Tomtom One V2 also has similar problems, it works for some users but not all of them.

BetHa,
Do you have a TomTom Rider new (second edition/version)??
Do you confirm that TomTom Rider version 2 with 675.1430 Navteq maps?
We are still waiting for the NEW NAVTEQ map for TomTom because for me the 675.1409 TeleAtlas have a lot of errors

I bought the TT Rider V2 last week and it is 100% confirmed that the D/A/Ch Map is Navteq 675.1430. I intend to install the Western Europe Map 675.1409 on my new Rider V2 but the provided keygens don´t work...I thought it has something to do with the spaces but that´s not.

I'll upload the D-A-CH Map v 675.1430 asap.
So who has the solution? Plz help...

Hi Russ.
Thanks for your reply.
It's was my chance. ;-(
if it doesn't work with mine tomtom go 710.
If I test in an another one, should it work or it should be the same thing.
It would'n work.
If I test on my go 910?
thanks.

I aggree with Russ and the code does seems correct for that device ID.
I authorized the same map on a TT510 (running latest firmware) using the same keygen. 510 & 710 use same firmware so its hard to see how tomtom could have blocked his.
Whereas on a PPC with cracked software you can call the map folder what you want, I did find that the map folder on the Go device MUST be called Western_and_Central_Europe or the code is not accepted.

It should work fine on a 710 or 910 - don't forget you will have to generate a new code for each unit though.
