This summer, EBSCO is making major strides in the eBook user experience with the release of their new online viewer and mobile app. The online viewer will automatically provide users with a new look and feel, updated tools, and support for both PDF and EPUB eBooks online as well as for download. The free mobile app will enable users to seamlessly download and read eBooks, as well as bookmark, annotate, and save them to a personal bookshelf.

Panelists
Emma Horton – eBooks Product Analyst, EBSCO
Emma Horton has worked a combined 6+ years at EBSCO Information Services in Publisher Relations and Product Management, with 5 of those years exclusively focused on eBooks. Emma is currently eBook Product Manager and has been a part of the Product Management team for about 2 years. Her most recent focus has been the user interface and user experience, a major piece of the EBSCO eBooks product line.
Kara Kroes – eBooks Director of Product Management, EBSCO
Kara Kroes is Director of Product Management for EBSCO and has ten years of experience working on ebook products and services. In her current role, she helps EBSCO distill the evolving needs of libraries, end-users, and publishers into a product strategy. Prior to EBSCO, she managed global sales operations for OCLC’s eBook business and she holds an MA in English from the University of Colorado.
