Back in the mid-'90s, I spent most of my time a) worrying if I'd ever be able to get out of my hometown; and b) watching The State on MTV. The show only lasted three seasons, but it made a big impact on many of its fans — and jumpstarted the careers of several comedians we know and love.

In 1997 members of The State published a tongue-in-cheek travel book, State by State with The State: An Uninformed, Poorly Researched Guide to Traveling in the United States. It's been out of print for awhile, but this week it returns in glorious e-book form.

If you're a fan, the new teaser is definitely worth a look. Nearly every State member appears in the video, including Ken Marino, Michael Ian Black, David Wain, Michael Showalter, Joe Lo Truglio, Tom Lennon, Kerri Kenney, Kevin Allison and Michael Patrick Jann. After all these years, they're all still so pretty, don't you think?

State by State goes on sale Nov. 5 as an e-book via Amazon and iTunes. It's going to make a lovely addition to my digital library.
