Im looking for a dysptoian book i read a while ago and i know hubbie would really enjoy but can i remember the name!

At first thought was Joe Nobodys Apolalypse Drift as front cover featured a boat and a city in flames but it isnt after i started reading it lol

From what i can remember it started as a man on a boat a nuclear attack over ?New York, along the way he mets other survivors and their trials and triumphs as they head south eventually ending when they reach antarctica

if anyone can help..ive been looking for abt 6 months lol..will give them a wee preesie of 100 warez!

Maybe The Last Ship by William Brinkley.

The TV series is loosely based on this book.
