So, in 7th grade I spent the night at a friend's house and read this book.
I've never seen it since, and have forgotten the title and author.
I DID post on barnes and noble's lost book forum, and someone found it!
Then they wiped the forum and started it over. I hadn't written it down, just saved the link.
I lost my book again.

So!
Young disabled(?) girl named Lucy. 1 Older Brother, 1 Older sister. During a special summer, Lucy managed to prove herself by climbing a huge tree. Some encounter with a fairy/supernatural being named Rowan(?), are given this glowy orb thing.
School starts, brother and sister get busy and unknowingly fall under the evil influence of (?), claim it was all a dream, or a game, and Lucy is the only one left believing. Bakes herself a little play-doh fetish of Rowan, somehow channeling enough power to break spell(?) on siblings, just in time to.. do .. something.. to free(?) Rowan.. give him the orb? .. vague ending, I was falling asleep. I think this may have been a middle book in a series.


So, suggestions? Please find my book, I miss it. I swear this time, I'll email myself the info!
