I read this book years ago, and it still one of those books I haven't forgotten. The book is not recent, it has to be the 80s or 90s.

It is about a beautiful woman, who has been in a long-term relationship with her boyfriend. They met in College or something like, during that time they were also friends with 2 men..but her boyfriend is sleeping with the guy that I think that wants to kill her or wants what she has. She later gets involved with the good guy and finds what a boyfriend was up to. I know I dont have a lot to go on but that is all I remember. I think it has to do with paintings I could be wrong about that
