Hello Readers,

I'm trying to remember the name of a book.

Story or Plot-

A man or sailor who is sailing in the sea to some destination. However, his ship crashed in between, and he reaches to some isolated and unknown island. Since he is not having any other way to return to his home, so he learned to survive on that very island. In the process, he learns all necessary things of life such as building hut, hunting, fire, save from climate changes, how to make a dress, arranging for security from other wild animals.

To keep track of the days passed, he keeps record of the date and calendar on a piece of wood. He also pets a dog and parrot. If I remember properly, then the story ends when the main hero meets some another person named Friday.

The interesting part of the story is it's narration in detail about general tasks or other things.

I would be grateful if anyone remembers the title of the story.

You have got to be kidding me, sounds just like Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe. It was written in the early 1700's. Agree with Curley.

This might be it at gutenberg

Hi Curley and Bilbo3443,

You both got the exact book. Thank you very much. Thanks for sharing the link too.

I also found a link to the same book at Goodreads Downloads. Sharing it with future reader or searcher, if any.
