The plot: the hero is an heir who was sent abroad to US, I think, to study for college. He's in love with the daughter of their family housekeeper, whom he had impregnated unknowingly. Father of the hero learned about it and sent the heroine away; the heroine's mother asked her to abort the baby but she didn't and chose to leave. 5-7 years after now as famous designer, she came back home (London, I think) when she was being called home via radio because her mother's sick. Then the story continues on how secrets separated them and how they get back together.
