Please help, I read this book a while ago and can't remember the title or author and its just driving me crazy

This is what I remember.
Synopsis:
The main character is a guy who is a furniture maker ( he made the cutest bed for his god daughter??) and he has a cat (that acts more like a human) he doesn't know at the time that his cat is a familiar and I think he is a witch but he doesn't know that.
I remember that he meets this guy and wakes up in his bed with this necklace on which makes him the vampires mate. When he wakes up the mans brother is there with breakfast. He doesn't know that the man he slept with is a Vampire and they are in a turf war with "wolf shapeshifters"?? I remember he goes to meet the family and they are all in aww of him because they can read his mind and he thinks the most crazy things.
Side note: His friend (male) has a daughter and his husband is missing. Turns out the man is being taken over by another vampire.
