Can't remember most of the book but the MC married a guy she's not really in love with for convenience. He worships her and puts her on a pedestal so much he can't sleep with her but fucks someone else instead and she's kinda relieved. The guy she loved comes home (from war?) and sees her with a kid and is upset but it turns out the kid is the other woman's so they get together.
