ok so i think i had read it on kindle or something similar (check history couldnt find)

main character is a guy who somehow or another got killed by an alien on accident. alien save/revives/resurrects him with super alien tech and talks to the guy saying he cannot send him back to earth since he now knows about aliens so guy has choice to self terminate/kill himself or be moved to different place guy chooses to be moved and world that alien sends him to (time travel may be involved but dont think so) he cant speak the language and is taken in by what accounts for a church but he still has his knowledge of modern science and proceeds to make guns cannons shows then tactics etc.
