Disclaimer: I downloaded this book/book series around 9 to 10 years ago here on Mobilism, and I've read oh just about a thousand more books since then, so I remember very little of it.
The plot was something about vampires warriors who are trying to subdue/make peace with other vamp factions; vamps had all the classics like speed, strength, bloodthirst etc.
Earth and other planets were involved too (hence the space/sci-fi?) and a lot of political thriller aspects went on side by side with the indiscriminate murder of humans (vamp book, go figure). It had m/m elements too but I cant remember for sure whether they were in detail enough to be classified as erotica.
The cover(s?) was blue-ish, grayish and overall darkish with a vamp warrior in all his bloody glory in the foreground? Not sure. Writer's name began with A or U (again, reaaally not sure about this)
What I do remember most about this was after an (activation? Lol I have noo clue) ritual, the vamps would say something like "My eyes are open and I'm not afraid" which also became their war slogan etc. Memory can be a funny funny thing.
I don't remember any other details. Any questions you may have might help, but that's about it.
