hi, i would like your help in remembering the title of a book i read i long time ago; it is a novel about a japanese young man who lived in meiji-era japan, and who after a fishing trip, was fought dead and lost his hand; he then lived for some time on okinawa and leanred an unarmed fighting art which he became quite proficient with despite the fact that he was one handed; he then also traveled to hong-kong and the US and along the way also married an american woman.At the same time,in japan the samurai traditional way of life is living its last day and a some of them decide to go out with a bang against the modernized,western-equiped japanese army.
