I’m trying to remember the name of a book.

One specific scene, is where some “bad guys” tried summoning a powerful demon/entity, and it ended up being a super powerful cat-like (with lots of teeth) familiar, who attached itself to the main character. I think it might have killed the people who summoned it…not sure.

This was probably also an MM romance/erotica fantasy book. But I’m pretty sure it was set in earth and roughly current times. Just…with magic.
