HELLO
Can some one please help me find the YA Fantasy series, which has a half demon female protagonist. She is supposed to suck souls like her family but she resists. Her only friend at school is a human boy... who turns out to be some warrior or something later. She sees something horrible in the basement of her home.
Dont remember what happens after that but some time later in the series she joins up with these fighters/warriors who hav been fighting with demons for a long time and turns out her mother was one. some egyptian name I think.
lots of cool sword fighting etc.
Her human friend turn out to be some slow aging 80 some old warrior who she later falls in love with...
I just cant remember the name of the series..
