I know it's a long shot but I though it would be worth a try. I'm looking for a few books I read a long time ago. I don't remember many details so I doubt anyone can help bu if the books I describe sound like anything you have read, please let me know. It bugs me when I can't remember a title!

The first was a sci-fi book about a girl who somehow ends up in the woods. I remember there were a lot of animals in the book.

The second was about a girl who lived in the middle ages. She was holding a cat on the cover but for some reason that's all I remember.

I figured out the 2nd one..The Midwife's Apprentice.
