This book has been tickling the back of my sub-conscious for the last while trying to figure out what it was. I read the book probably 4-5 years ago maybe more and the bullet points were

*At the start, I believe, That the female lead moved back to her parents hometown and the discovered she was a witch in control of elements. (I think one if not both of her parents were alive, and maybe one had disagreed with the decision to move back)

*There were a group of the main families, each of which were important to different elements, and with children

*Teenage witches - from a long lineage of witches

*Each Witch had control/use of one element - I think the main female character had control of two

*There were arranged marriages between the teen witches, not sure if this was based fully on family links or was it a combination of elements?

Am I going crazy or does anyone know the book i'm talking about?

No i thought that too when reading the blurbs but after reading the books themselves its not them unfortunately

Carrier of the Mark by Leigh Fallon?

None of these were the right ones, but have picked up a few for the long weekend to curl up with, thanks a million!
