Does anyone remember this novel? This novel came out in the last one year, it's a debut novel, don't remember author's name or title but it was about superheroes being mind controlled. Only One villain remains who resists the mind control chip. His superpower is inventing advanced machines, but goes the way of crime, when the company he works for steals his invention & gets Him arrested for copyright. When other heroes attack him, he escapes while kidnapping one of the superheroines. He tortures her out of the mind control ( which is done by the company he used to work for, i think). They begin working to get other heroes out of mind control. They fall in love, but heroine loses her memory of the affair after she is memory charmed. Does anyone remember this novel?
