I read a book a while back, and ive been searching for the title for a re-read, but cant find it anymore. plz HELP!
The young heroin lives in a mobile home with her parents and baby (sister/brother). (Alcaholic father, mother that sleeps around). for some reason (missing land owner?) the family is forced out of their home (which is burned) and from the town, by amoung others, the young hero (son of the richest man in town and landowner). I remember one scene very clearly. She is gathering as much clothes etc. for her and her baby sibling, while the mobile home is burning and the men that are there to remove them from the property all stand and watch (someting about a see through night gown, due to the fire).
Years later she returnes to town, a succesfull business owner and the hero is trying hard to once again force her away, this time by financial means. His father dissapeared together with her mother. In the end it turns out that it wasnt her mom that murdered/ran away with his dad, and the H&H fall in love.
I hope this is enough info for someone to please help me!!! i really want to read it again, and i cant stand it that i cant find it!!
