if 4 = 320, is 2=160 or 96?

2 represents Normal in the settings. This is what spotify sets itself to when you go in to settings and click Normal.

Concerning the Spotify Quality Hack, does this hack also work if you are registered with your Facebook Account?
If yes, what do I have to enter as Username?

regards

...uhm ..yes. You then need to find your ID.

You can login to Spotify.com and look under Account overview. The top field should be Username. Under here should be your ID.

If this does not work.
Try starting the client on your computer. At the right top edge click on your profile and go to your profile.
On your profile picture right click and copy spotify URL.
Paste this string in a notepad and it should look like: spotify:user:XXXXXXXXXXXXX. X representing your username.
Paste the XXXX into the app and hope it works.

If it does not work.. then you need to change sound quality manually.

Works perfectly for me. CM 12.1, rooted with AdAway running. Got zero ads, unlimited skips, track selection, and seeking.

You guys on 6.0.1 rooted... is it possible that you're using systemless root (ie. root that doesn't change the system directory?) I've heard some stuff about that type of root method for the newer versions of Android. I think it's an attempt to keep Android Pay working, or some such thing, but I'm not very familiar with any of it tbh. Anyway, if you are using a systemless root method, it's possible that you're getting ads because your hosts file isn't able to be manipulated (I think it's in the system directory, isn't it?)
