The menu goes down today to all because spotify force this via server, it happen also in version 6.9

I prefer the material design menu on left side, maybe it's possible to have also a modded version with old style.

Bottom bar is the new thing. Google and others have been adding it in their apps. Spotify follows.

I disagree! They just wanted to copy the desktop version interface with miserable results.
The bottom bar could look good if Spotify were displayed in fullscreen. But, obviously they keep on "following"...

Really wish the 'Casting to ' a device was enabled.. Just tried to cast to a soundbar and that's premium only.

I gave up just because of that feature...caved in and bought a shared family plan...not so bad at <3$/month. Might want to consider that option.

I just cringe at paying to stream music. Don't mind buying music but paying for something I don't and can never 'posses' just irks me.
