Well every time I try to play a song it advertised premium.
I'm in Japan. Maybe region plays a part or maybe something else.

That actually is likely the case. Someone else was having issues getting an earlier modded release working properly and he was in another country as well. I think someone said something about using a VPN or proxy to make the app think they are in the US? But I dont know if that was just for the first launch or what, youd have to find the old posts and find his comments, sorry

Thank you.

Just one additional question. How can I download the maximum quality I'm order to burn it on a regular CD. I only saw this in the premium version. What am I going to do with the format. Isn't it encrypted? !?!?

Alternatively is there a way record it while listening on the smartphone. Is there an app for android that you can recommend?

Thank you

You can't download with this version. It requires a server side check and your account is flagged as a free one. (At least this is what the cracker said)
Even on premium I don't remember a way to burn CDs from downloaded content...
I doubt it is possible now, since Spotify is only a streaming service and you don't buy albums there.
The downloaded content in case of a premium subscription, is encrypted. You can only play it with the Spotify App.

@MangeF & @onixotto
You are right, I never used either of these streaming solutions. In the past there were more questions about Chromecast v2 than on Spotify connect... And in case you would use a Chromecast BubbleUpnp would working. But not for Spotify Connect...
Oh and onixotto ... At least I am trying to give some help instead of useless comments.

Do you use the chromecast audio?
I belive the chromecast v1 is working.
Don't know why v2 can't work ... Ask Balatan. I think I read before, he don't own any chromecast and can't check it. But I have no clue about it. I don't use it anyway.

If you are rooted and if you have xposed installed, check BubbleUPNP, you can stream all audio to any device, including chromecast.

You can also use AirAudio, works like a charm. Requires root but not xposed.
