Hi David,

First I wanted to say thank you for your time in modding the Pandora app. I use it all the time and love the unlimited skip feature. I have one question, with this modded version I am unable to use it/see it via Android Auto, but the actual Pandora from the Play Store works fine. I was wondering if there was anything additional you could mod/tweak to make it work with Android Auto? I am using v1712.1 Patched.

Again thx for all your hard work,
Kizer

You either need to install the app through ADB as a play store app OR you need to put your AA into developer mode and allow unknown sources. Developer mode is much easier to figure out.

anyone with a Moto Z Force or similiar have it not downloading songs(v1712.1), i set the permission and uninstalled and reinstalled the app but it still doesn't download anything, checked all folders but no music.

Edit: 1710.2 IS working with downloading songs, not sure what changed if anything in 1712.1 for my device to make it not download..

Since the other guy that replied to you didn't really take the time out to really explain what you need to do and, since someone helped me out once with the same problem you're having, I can finally pay it forward.

The guide uses ADB, but I've had no issue using a terminal emulator AS ROOT on the phone (Termux in my case you can get it off the Google Play Store)

Here's an example of the command I personally used in Termux for Pandora:

Note your APK path in the following command will obviously be different

Code: Select all#Switch Termux to root mode
su
#Should now be root
pm install -i "com.android.vending" -r /sdcard/Download/Pandora\ v7.4\ Patched.apk

Hope that helps?

Thx for the reply, appreciate it... After a little more research I actually got it working by just turning on developer mode in AA without having to use ADB or terminal commands.

Long time lurker first time posting. Looks like the last 2 builds of Pandora won`t download the song on Oreo 8.1. Yes permissions was set before attempting to download. Yes u have wiped data and app cache and installed a fresh copy. Yes I have also tried to install on top of an old build.

The pop-up just doesn`t show up. Wondering if the draw over permissions in Oreo is the cause.
