Anyone else's Pandora simply disappear from Android Auto? I've got it installed in "vending mode" but it no longer shows up as the list of options for music any longer. Worked before...

Long time lurker first time posting. Looks like the last 2 builds of Pandora won`t download the song on Oreo 8.1. Yes permissions was set before attempting to download. Yes u have wiped data and app cache and installed a fresh copy. Yes I have also tried to install on top of an old build.

It downloads on 8.1...does not show in status bar.. Try ticking storage permission off/on.. Should get downloading and toast when it's done

I just found out that that you can turn on developer options in AA by going into settings/about app and quickly tapping about app at the top of the screen. Once you enable that you will have the option to allow unknown apps. It fixed it for me!

Odd, I just went through mine, I don't see that option anywhere and I have developer options enabled on my phone.

It still should show up if you install the app in "vending mode" using Termux or any other terminal emulator like I've done.... damn strange.

In the Android Auto app "About" page, not your device's...it has nothing to do with having Developer options enabled on your phone.

I'm having some weird behavior where pandora gets stuck buffering. Not sure if it's related to this version being out if date or if it's a pandora issue. None of my other music apps have this issue.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I just enabled it. Wonder if it will do anything for me since I connect to a Head unit? I'll find out in a few hours I guess.

So, not sure if anyone wiser is having this issue but the app is now saying timed out session and after F.C. and reboot asnd even cache clear it still won't work. Now after cache clear the app says unexpected issue when trying to logon. Any advise?

So Pandora seems to have finally found a way to block the modded app. I used it this morning and then on my drive home it kept saying timed out when I'd open it. Latest official version from the play store worked with no issues.

Wiped app data (was on 1712.1) and trying to login gave me an error about technical difficulties. Restored my old backup of v7.7.1 and had the exact same issue. Just installed v1802.1 from here and it just crashes non stop. Can't even open the app.

EDIT: Figured I wasn't the only one. Such a bummer. Been using this for probably 4-5 years. Hope a workaround pops up.
