Spotify Downloader is an app that allows you to download tracks in playlists from any Spotify user account.

You just need to enter your spotify user account name (or any account name), click on the playlist, then select the tracks and click on 'Start'.

You don't need to use your password or authenticate, all you need is the user account name.

This would be a great app to have but unfortunately when I try to download a song I get "failed to download, check your internet connection". Did a speed test and my internet is running just fine.

Haven't had time to test the app, but in which format and at which bitrate does it download the songs?

this is amazing

Very nice application! Songs are downloaded in MP3 format and they seem to be in 128KBPS. Not too shabby.

Sorry for this question but I can't get how this app works, does it download the song on your mobile phone?
If yes, I can't find it..

What to use if FaceBook login?

This obviously means that if the code was known it could be intergrated to the moded Spotify app

I am sure, this is a similar method as used by the windows tools.
Playing the song and recording it or downloading it from YouTube (or other sources).
Don't think this app can remove the Spotify DRM

i'd have to agree with you, been trying to get need you now by tommie sunshine
which seems to only be on spotify, the downloader downloaded a entirely different song
