Would it be possible to mod this to enable playing to Wi-Fi speakers?

Would like to play to my SONOS speakers but it says only for premium.

Unfortunately, that's also a server side feature..

I'd have to hack into Spotify servers to get that feature dX

If the same, certainly much easier to download from, rather than the ad block unfriendly file hosts.

Use adguard, if you wanna block ads. It has a root option too for root users.. It bypasses the restriction of disabling adblock

Download it from here :p

Hey Rabbit, bc I've got an unrooted phone and can't root for certain reasons, and I've already got Spotify pre-installed to my system, is there any way to get around this issue? Can someone mod it to be a different name or something as it wants to "upgrade" my Spotify when attempting to install. :(

Use app cloner to clone the APK, then install the cloned APK.
I have to do this on my S8 since it has a locked bootloader and an imperfect root at the moment.
I first disabled the spotify that came preinstalled as a system app although you probably don't need to disable it.

You can resolve this by using App Cloner, which allows you to install multiple copies of your existing apps.

Can anyone please confirm this is indeed an extreme sound modded release? I've a Balatan version from a couple of weeks back and it's running fine at the moment (used his spoti releases for over a year now- not sure if it's MrDude doing the modding?) so would only update again to Extreme back. I had read on here that Spotify changed the server side streaming to 128kbps to all none prem accounts, whereby they check the premium status of your account, if it fails as not being premium, the stream drops to 128kbps and the mod makes no difference to that (the extreme setting is just cosmetic). I can certainly vouch this has been the case, as at some point since before summer, spotify has been sounding like clipped/internet radio quality even with extreme enabled, whereas for a long time extreme gave you near cd quality. Has this mod therefore bypassed their serverside change and it's now back to true extreme sound quality again?
Thanks for your efforts.

* also don't understand what The_Killer is referring to. The checksums verify as it being the same apk. The filename only differs in that the open and closed parenthesis are displayed as their Html code on the second check - the name is otherwise identical?
