The best part is that the Extreme Quality is R-E-A-L this time, instead of being cosmetic as in the other modds.
I connect it to an ONKYO amp with a 5.1 system at home and can really hear the difference.
Great work.
What about Balantan's mods, is their extreme quality feature not giving the expected result?

Well, in order to test the Extreme Quality unlocked premium feature, I have done some tests by using this Dogfood Spotify release and the last Balantan's realease installed on a Moto G3 and a Moto G2, respectively.
I connected these smartphones to my LG Music Flow SH7 360W 4.1 Ch. sound system (http://www.lg.com/uk/speakers-sound-systems/lg-SH7) via 3.5 mm line-in and also via Bluetooth. I tried several songs with different types of musical instruments and sounds. I played the same songs by using both smartphones alternately and I was unable to notice any difference between the quality of high, medium or low frequencies. I consider I have a sensitive hearing so I can trust on what my hears received, however I ask for help to a musician friend who is a guitarrist in order to have a second opinion.
In conclusion and according to my tests, I can say that the Extreme Quality feature from Dogfood's and Balantan's releases are the same; both give an excelent sound quality.

I agree. Not sure what the hype is about better sound, but I don't notice an appreciable difference either. Unless someone conducts a verifiable test with solid variables (more than just a rough comparison of data usage), I consider the difference a combination of word of mouth and placebo.

Using 3.5mm output means digital sound is converted to analogue. Bluetooth compresses the signal before it sends out.
If you really want to test, you can try install it on an Android TV BOX which you can output digital links to your sound system. In that way, you will then be able to hear the difference.

That's a good point. It's a shame I don't have an Android TV BOX right now, since I am willing to run this another test. I probably purchase a Vorke Z6 at AliExpress in a couple of weeks, but I'll have to wait for a month -or a bit more- until it arrives to my country
However, according to what hkwildboy said I can draw this conclusion: guys, if you don't have a device with digital output it doesn't matter what Spotify mod release you use, you'll always get the same audio quality. We won't be able to perceive the real extreme quality by using analogic or compressed transmission methods, we better look for devices with digital audio output, HDMI ARC or get a premium account
Now I ask a favor to anyone who has a couple of Android smartphones with USB Type-C and some USB Type-C headphones: please, carry out some tests and tell us how these Spotify mods work.

What you really want to do is running the streamed "Extreme" audio through a spectrum analyzer and watch for any differences between the same song streamed from the two different apps.
