When youre Device is rooted then you must have this installed:
1. Xposed
2. xPrivacyLUA
3. This Mod
Mark in xPrivacyLUA all Checks for Spotify, start Spotify and log in.
Yes but Spotify if you have it Uninstall first clean up everything reboot and install again
I Haven`t....
First, i installed the PlayStore Version, start and logged in. Second, i installed a unsigned apk from this Mod. Mark the Checks in xPrivacyLUA and start it... works.
Not wrong because you don`t need install play version just the apk mod

+1.... Xposed work-around works GREAT!

NO need to create "new" account
NO need to "export playlists"
NO need for "vpn"

Everything working as it was before all this Spotify "trickery". I really don't know what I would have done w/o rooting. It has solved/added functions beyond words.

Yeah... I'd rather have working SafetyNet apps than Xposed on anything. Oh well, back to paying for Google Play Music. At least I can get ad-free YouTube without having to install yet another app.

Ad-free YouTube? You might want to check out Youtube Vanced (https://forum.xda-developers.com/androi ... n-t3758757): Background playback, ad-free and black/white themed among other features.

@Balatan

First of all thanks a lot for the modded Spotify application.

As you know that people are blocking "get sensors" and "use tracking" options via the xposed xprivacy module. Can you use these features already in the modded application of Spotify so that users don't have to root their phones and install xposed?

What is the procedure to renew the trial with xposed module? Please give step by step procedure. I'm successfully running the xprivacy module.

This is by far the best option IMO

ARM: http://www115.zippyshare.com/v/r2OpfmVX/file.html

x86: http://www115.zippyshare.com/v/KKGG5lL5/file.html

It's perfectly working, with a new account created in a sec with a new email.
To transfer all your tracks and playlists use the desktop app:
-on the desktop app search for the user you want to copy the playlist from (a different person or your other spotifyy accuont)

-on the overview page of this person go to 'See All' on the right side of the 'Public Playlist'. Now you will see an overview of all his/her playlists.

-Click and hold on the playlist title/name you want to copy to your playlists.

-Drag it to the bottom left of your screen and drop it on the circle with a plus sign in it with the text ' New Playlist'.

This will create a playlist on your account with the same name and content as the source one.

That's an old version + you have to create a new account.
For those who can use Xposed, I think it's best to just install balatan's spotify and use xprivacy lua.

I wonder for how long either method will work, though
