I live in the US using a Pixel XL on 8.1, just completely uninstalled the older version of the Spotify mod and rebooted my phone. Upon reboot, I installed this version of the mod and I was able to log in but the app would only tell me either "Something is wrong" or that "You're offline." Looks like Spotify is finally cracking down all the modded apks and disabling them once and for all.

I checked my account on my desktop and my account is still functioning normally. My account isn't banned, it's just only trying to use the modded apk is where problems arise.

As for me, uninstalled the old spotify and rebooted. Then tried my old account which had received warning and it jammed. I created a new account and it worked.

I did just that through "app info" on android. deleted data and cache, even did a search on windows for any spotify folders left on my phone. still no dice

Is there anyone here that can contact Riu ? as his modded version is still working perfect for me.I understand some of you are having issues logging in, get the official app make a list of all your lists and music and start a new account with Riu Spotify version. Yeah it sucks but for me I would rather do that then listen to shit ads from Spotify.

***Never mind got it to work. i see where I went wrong. For those that are not working make sure to use a VPN on computer to change Spotify account location, i did Singapore, and it worked. (If you're using Chrome you can get Hola as an extension which allows you to change location. Very easy to use. ) Then use a VPN app on phone, I used Hola, and choose same location on from account, Singapore.

Check out if your email is banned (go to Spotify.com), if so, make a new account and don't use Gmail and try the Mod of Riu
