I'm still getting the 'spotify has stopped' message. But only like 2 or 3 times a day. On a Galaxy S9+

same here. on stock oneplus 3t oreo. and it only happens when the app is not being used and not playing anything in the background. if somthing is playing it never crashes. the crash window is also different from the usual android app crash (the usual one show you 3 options when app crash) but this crash only show you one option:



this didn't happen with old versions of dogfood and old versions of mobilism before the crackdown.

I'm having the exact same issue. Spotify seems to work fine, but this message appears several times throughout the day when I am not using it.

I fixed this now, I patched ads differently now, that's what was causing the problem. I'm currently testing for the next release - no FC or ads so far.

I'll release this when a new version is released. In the meantime - wait!

Spotify Japan is 15h/month limit, maybe that's the reason.

It will be good if balatan or mrdude can develop too a mod for that.

Launch the Android Auto application on your smartphone
Tap on the menu icon in the top left corner
Select the About option
Tap repeatedly on the About Android Auto portion of the heading until a pop-up states that Developer settings is enabled
To locate the Developer settings, select the multi-dot menu button in the top right corner
Tap on Developer settings
Go to bottom of menu and checkmark Unknown Sources
Restart Android Auto

Any idea if it's possible if you could also remove the patch that prevents one to install the apk by setting the install vendor? Android Auto would only detect the modded Spotify apks if I set the install vendor to "com.android.vending" through ADB but it seems like this was patched to prevent that from happening ever since Spotify started cracking down everyone.

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks for all your hard work in keeping Spotify alive for many of us!

Spotify connect not working for me too, not see Spotify on Android TV, just option to cast, and no way to login on Android TV because of this... Old versions works...

Yes I already patched it, I'm testing out new patches to fix extreme mode - I'll release when and if I'm ready too. Also upcoming mod hint
