The next release with be unpacked by someone and all the mods traced I think, that's what happens with every apk - then someone else releases, also I shared all my patch findings with Balatan, so he can release - also he knows how to trace the assembly code now and can understand the java/byte code.

Also I wrote a windows crack to mod Arm + x86 binaries, to trace and patch ads, so I might release that when I'm done.

Hey MrDude. Thank you for all your hard work. It is really really appreciated! You and Balatan make an amazing team!

Can you please consider still collaborating with other modders who modify this app in the future, only if to help with any new changes introduced by Spotify that are difficult to solve? I trust/hope Balatan can continue this work on his own, and am grateful for his work here too. I understand the ongoing work to continually mod this app is a lot so I understand you stepping away. Can/Will you please still be available to help us if Spotify makes it difficult for the modders/users here again? I'm hoping you can at least step in again when/if we need you again!!! I hope that day doesn't come but please come back because we need you!!!

Would you consider adding the extreme audio and track selection mod to that patcher? Or that is an idiotic request/question from me?

I've a similar issue with a BOSE Soundtouch speaker, but as "Spotify Connect" is a premium feature, I've been using BubbleUPnP for DLNA/Chromecast and it works great.
It might work for you too, until the .apk is modded, but I've a feeling it is a server side feature, but I might be wrong.

Edit: I was wrong ...lol Although it is a premium feature, it's speaker side (in the speaker software/binary), so not phone dependant or anything with the modded Spotify on the phone.

As your speaker has it's own firmware, with it's own spotify binary file in that O/S and can't be patched unless you dump the NAND or NOR or whatever chip holds that firmware, then extract the spotify binary from that and patch it - then no.

Chromecast also has it's own spotify binary.

The apk is patched for client and server mode - but only works on devices that run a modded apk. So an android TV version of spotify will be able to be controlled, bluestacks or a tablet with hacked spotify can be controlled by a phone with a hacked spotify.

I'm finding it difficult to understand why people can't grasp this?? If your speaker has Bluetooth, just open spotify and send the audio from your phone/tablet via bluetooth - then you won't get ads, or need spotify connect to be patched on your device.

No one can guarantee that. It's a risk worth taking if you're a pirate. Just give it a go, it's just a Spotify account, they're easily replaced.

Just make a burner account with another email and make the playlists you care about collaborative so that they work like normal.
