I swear some of the requests in this thread are so stupid. "Is it possible for the next Spotify mod to cook dinner for me? Please add that in, MrDude!!"

Download feature are server side, so it won't happen. Most benefit using this mod for me are for choosing music freely (unlocked) without shuffle and audio ads.

Probably - who knows what Spotify servers can see - why not send them an email and ask them if they can detect modded aps connecting to their servers?
You should analyze the data.
Without paid apk updates, I am nothing! Update your apps android releasers!

You should analyze the data.
Why don't you do that - then get back with your detailed results and let us know what Spotify can see on their servers.
Now think about that for a second - you're connecting to a database/server. Music and ads are being sent to your device. Also your Device ID/MAC/IMEI/Screen Size/Android Version/IP address and various other device information is being sent. You receive a cert back and some features of the apk are unlocked.
If you feel the urge to check what data is being sent and received - YOU check it out and don't expect someone else to do it for you, also while you're at it - Email Spotify and ask them why they need to collect all that data such as your device id/mac etc.

Currently using this release. Did they disable Last.fm integration? It is absolutely nowhere in the settings.
Edit: Screenshot of it missing.

Sorry to be the asshole (ie. not reading) but I'm on the run (vacation.) I'm getting logged out using 8.4.44.661. Haven't updated to the newer releases in a while, so I assume it's that (and not the fact that I'm in Greece) so can someone tell me which the super stable build is? I know I saw Mr Dude mention it a few different times but I don't really have time to go digging up those comments right now (sorry again, I know these no-search comments are lame.)

In my personal opinion - this is the best version with the most features + it's rock solid for stability:

If you keep getting logged out in Greece - just make a new account while you're there from within the app, no need to verify your email address, so just type in anything for that.

You should connect from last.fm they changed their connection method now you can connect the account with last.fm once, and it will detect it across all devices.

Thank you! I never knew about the change until now.
