As for people asking about the premium icon - can it be removed.....yes it can, however it won't be removed in this version - it's making a point that you are FREE users, and it shows you what the app is giving you for free - that way when people complain about certain things not being available - they can be reminded they are not paying for a premium account.

Maybe this will be patched in future versions - but not for now....also if you can't login - just make a new Spotify account using a VPN and set to UK, if you still can't login - maybe the universe is trying to tell you something!

Both versions crashed right after the last step of creating the account while connected to a VPN server in London. I guess some of us just aren't meant to use this version.

To anyone who can`t log into this version just use the older version for now and welcome our buddy mrdude on his return to modding spotify. Let`s keep our fingers crossed and hopefully we`ll get our problems solved in the future versions.

Strange the app does not install but it installs if i use APKTIME app. What gives? Who well. Personally, i like the older version but this will do. i hope more updates are on the way.

Also please note - Full Voice Searching is available on the newer version posted on the first page, but it`s not patched on this older version, so if you don`t care about that and just want a version you can log in with - try this.

Wow! The older mod used to force end the app 2 or 3 times at every single beginning of the use of app. This one's fine, thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu.

First of all thank you very much for Mr Dude & Balatan, for bringing us a new mod after all this time, you guys definitely rules!

I tell them about my experience in case it is of any use. I tried both versions found in this post (8.5.51.941 and 8.5.45.620 repack).

Both versions on a Samsung S4 mini with Android 4.4.2 KitKat (yes, I know it's an old device) didn't work for me at all. At the moment of login with my regular account as with new accounts created with VPN, the app closes and says "Spotify stopped".

Then I also tried both versions on the PC with BlueStacks that uses Android 7 Nougat, in this case they worked perfectly for me, without any problem.

I am sure it is a problem that they will be able to solve in future versions.

Just wanted to tell you that I've been using the latest version for 2 days and I've yet to run into a single problem. It works perfectly. Thank you.

I found that my voice search was blocked by adguard, when I turn it off then voice search works

Edit: I added a filter for Spotify in adguard and it works all the time now

Edit 2: Just wish there was a way to not have ads when streaming to google home without a pihole or router ad filter

I went into adguard settings and looked up app management, then turned off protection for Spotify

I also used to test the apps first in an old device before installing them on my phone but I was unable to log in (neither v8.5.45.620 nor v8.5.51.941). In my phone, however, this version works perfectly and without the "bugs" that were present in recent builds (i.e. app crash and general slowness, especially in accessing saved albums/artists) so I can say that I can finally update my v8.4.75.670 (repack)
