How old are we talking about here? I don't think note 8 is considered that old that can't use latest spotify

Hey guys, if you compare the sound and volume of Spotify vs Deezer playing the same song, do you see a difference in quality?
What I get on my Samsung S10+ if that Deezer songs are louder and sound that they have a better quality too...

I just gave a try to YT Music and the sound appears horrible to my ears even if "highest quality" is set.
For me, with every quality set to max, this is my personal chart from best to poorest sound:

Deezer (richest bass and details)
Spotify (flatter, linear and thinner sound)
YT Music (hissing, "LQ mp3" sounding)

Tests made with same song, over a MI 9T mobile, Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones and any streaming quality set to max.
Very personal results by the way.

I had the same thought for Deezer and I thought it was my phone or something.

I set everything on loud and maximum on Spotify but that didn't change anything in my ears.

I am keeping Spotify as well just in case anyway

Try installing Spotify in vendor mode using adb, see if that makes a difference.

Just installed Spotify as system app by moving to system/app/. Restarted and hide root for Spotify in Magisk. Still can`t login. Same wrong username/ password.

Well there is certainly a relationship with older devices and therefore older versions of Android but some claim to have login problems even with Android 7/8, so I can't say exactly what the cause could be

But my device is running on Official Lineage 16.1 (Pie) April build. Still can`t login

Anyway guys, Balatan and Mrdude has released lite apk of this version just an hour ago.

I think it crashes on some devices because you are trying to remove the premium tab. I just logged in as a result of a long struggle, has a premium tab, closed the application and opened it andI saw the premium tab disappeared but crashed. Can you tab a mod with a premium tab?
