For those having crashes like me (Redmi Note 5 Pro Android 9), version 8.5.29.828 works great so far. Something indeed went bad in this app code it`s insane. What a shame, hope they get it right one day.

Now you have to slide and I don't like that. Besides, I used to see the whole list, now it only shows me some songs in my list. Back to old version. thanks again and great job

I see only 1 change in the interface and 0 in functions / features.
In compact view the album art instead of play/pause and the play/pause instead of next song. That's it all I see differently. Do I like it? No. Do I care? No. Just swipe left or right over the artist-song for previous / next. Or from notification. So simple
What you describe about the list is an anomaly, just force stop the app and the playlists should be like it was.
On me the newest one doesn't work but 8.5.45.620 is working great. Is even better than 8.5.29.828, so I'm happy about it. Now I can change the volume while on Spotify Connect from the menu or even from device buttons as long as the app is in foreground.

Hey mrdude in both version 8.5.29.828 and this one some people are facing random crash right so I`ve tried everything and noticed that if i disable `recently played artists` and `listening activity` random crashes stop. It`s either of the 2 options that is causing crashes on recent versions i think.

I don`t really use this app - or care about it to be honest, so I can`t comment on what issue`s people are having. This stuff should be brought up with Spotify devs - it`s their app, not mine.

As I`ve previously said numerous times already - Spotify introduced all these bugs to their app - with all the stupid changes they did, and poor coding......hence not being cracked by me or Balatan for ages.

We are not - Spotify customer support stuff - if anyone has issues - contact Spotify directly.

Judging by the amount of people `still` having issues - it might be another long time before we even look at this app again, maybe once Spotify fix their code - it will be worth patching, in the meantime I suggest people than live in a country supported by Deezer should use that instead.

What stable version should we use for those who prefer Spotify ?

Not trying to be rude but it seems like nothing is working at all, not the spotify nor the deezer app. Spotify crashes as soon as it opens up and deezer won't play anything when you hit the play button it just keeps on loading.

I have the same phone with android 9 custom AOSP ROM and Spotify latest version works great. Are you using MIUI? Also in settings I turned off canvas and volume normalizer.

Hey, yes I`m using the stable version of Global MIUI 11. This Spotify version crashes 8/10 times when starting, works sometimes. It`s not MrDude`s fault just Spotify acting up randomly. No idea why but at least the version I mentioned has the Sleep Timer I wanted :)
