Overview: This app allows you to search for and download any songs at the highest quality (Flac & 320kbps).

Image Image

This app allows you to search for and download any songs at the highest quality (Flac & 320kbps).
The files are downloaded with high quality album artwork and the track name, number,
artist name, album name, release year (and other information) are all downloaded with the track into a single MP3 file.

The app automatically adds downloaded songs to the Android media database so
there is no need to run a media scan after downloading music. The app is fully customisable and
allows you to change the download location to anywhere on the device.

How to download songs: After searching for the song/album/playlist you want,
press and hold it and then hit the download button at the bottom right corner.
The song/album/playlist should start downloading.

Is it true that Deezer is cracking down on mods and direct downloads? A big post on Reddit said change is coming and it will block HQ downloads. Any truth to this?

No. Reddit is a horrible place to call a source.

v1.053 doesn't work for flacs or hq on a free or trial premium account. Go back to 1.052 - then use an arl cookie from a trial premium account - and then you can download HQ (320kbps not flac though).

It will probably be fixed soon though, although if you desperately need flac - you can download using a new program on PC called deemix which is in alpha development for now. (see screenshot).

Thanks for extra info but I downloaded Dua Lipa - Don't Start Now.flac it is 22MB using v1.053 with my old free account.
Or something changed since last few hours?

Yeah, I don't know what MrDude is talking about. I've been transitioning/downloading songs from my Deezer playlist through AIDS off and on all day using FLAC audio as the preference in settings. Every last track had a size of 20+ MB(FLAC size).
We had a good run with the Deezer app, but alas, it didn't last forever.

Well, that info came straight from the Dev's release channel on Telegram:

I tried the 1.053 a couple of days ago and it wasn't working for flac - if it's working for you and other people, well that's all good so keep using it. There's a few other programs that can download flac though - so it's not an issue if you want to download in that quality. I personally never really bother with flac - 320kbps is fine for me & most people though - unless you have very expensive speakers and perfect hearing, most wouldn't be able to tell the difference or hear all the different frequencies.
