If you want to download HIFI - use deemix on PC, it will also decode the audio file and you'll have it forever.

You can also download mha1 files (360 reality audio)...see screenshot:

For info on this codec - see the patent on how it works.
https://patents.google.com/patent/US20170134768A1/en

Files downloaded in 360 reality audio - will need a special codec installed to be able to play (will be named as mp4), so stick to HQ - HIFI (FLAC) for now.

You can get Deemix from here:
https://notabug.org/RemixDev/deemix

How do you bring up the menu to choose which quality to download with all those options? I've just installed it and I can only find the global "Preferred Bitrate" setting

Hello mrdude!
I have downloaded Deemix and it is really amazing!! I have even managed to download 360 Reality Audio in HQ!

BUT, I can't find any player or decoder that can play these files! And even audio editing programs like "Adobe Audition" or "iZotope RX 7" could not even read it!

I have searched the internet to maybe find answers, but no luck.

I have even gone as far as to sign up to get a hold on MPEG-H official plug-in. I even with the MPEG-H official plug-in I could not play the file.

I have tried to convert it but the codec (mha1) still remains so it still cab't read and play the file.

Is there anything I could do to get this file working??? I am really helpless. Any idea or a suggestion would be highly appreciated! :D

Thank you in advance,
Ron.

I'm still on 6.1.16.108 from whenever that came out. Been getting a server error pop up when i first connect (which i cancel and then it works fine). That's been going on a month or so and in that time, I have also noticed a sound quality drop too. Didn't think i was imagining it. The release i'm using still offfers the HQ HF options, but if there have been server side changes, this ties in with my experience. Deezer always sounded better than spotify, now it's the other way around. Deezer now sounds more like internet radio station quality. Therefore the 128kbps suggestion maybe sounds correct.
