Tried to clean data, cache, FC twice but nothing worked.
Previous v8.5.57.1164 build was back to working perfectly.

giodeluigi, stick to the older version then. Just because they update app doesn`t always mean any major changes have happened. If previous versions work, stick with that unless Spotify have a big update like new features you want. I`m still on version posted yesterday & not updated as works good

In my surprise I got shuffle mode only as well, tried everything, uninstall and clean install as well, lucky previous version working great.

Only 1 file was modded different in this version - it was tested on many devices and worked fine on various accounts, however it could be device dependent. We know what file has changed so it won't be an issue to fix. In the meantime use 8.5.57.1164 - there's no difference functionality/feature wise anyway.

My device is OG Pixel XL Android 10 btw.
