Your device must have Spotify integrated as if it were a system app and it doesn't allow it to be completely removed. I think that one of the ways to do something is to become a root user and delete it.

Yes I don't use it either, but when I installed this version today (when still had the shuffle mode issue) Canvas was activated by default and when listening to a song I realized that, when I went to try to deactivate the option didn't show in settings (it was the first start immediately after installing the app) so I closed it and when I reopened it already appeared and I could turn it on/off as I said before.
