One issue i found was casting to chromecast disconnects randomly..on this version and 8.5.7

Casting isn`t controlled by the app - the music stream comes directly from Spotify Servers - when you cast using Spotify connect the app just works like a remote, you can close your phone/app and music will still play on you chromecast device from your playlist.

If using your device casting instead of spotify connect - that has nothing to do with the app either - so the problem is on your network or device rather than this app.

Hey! Ever since the update to see discography, whenever that was, I can't add whole albums to playlists. I have to add it one song at a time. I would love to be able to add whole albums to various playlists again. The official version of Spotify has the same issue looks like. Which version of the app is just before the "see discography" update?

I`m on the official version of the app, v8.5.58.954, and I`m able to add entire albums to playlists by opening the 3 dot menu on the album page (I can provide a screenshot of you want). Maybe you can try the full version of the mod (not lite)?

Edit: also in the Albums tab of "Your Library", you can add entire albums to playlists by long-tapping on the album.
