v8.62 and 8.63 have shuffle mode problem. The previous versions that have worked well are 8.57, 8.58 and 8.59, you have to try which one works best with your device because some may have problems, but those versions worked very well on my devices.

Unfortunately that is not a solution for me and several of those who get this error, I tried several times to clear cache and force close but the shuffle mode never stopped showing completely on my devices. Both with versions 8.62 and 8.63. When searching and playing a song, the albums are progressively "unlocked" and are no longer seen in shuffle mode, but it is temporary, then everything has the same bug again.

you need to search a song or play a song in any playlist. that way Spotify will allow you to choose any song from any album. you need to do it every time you exit the app. isn't practical but at least is a solution.

Personally I prefer to use, as MrDude recommends, the latest version of the mod that works without problems on my devices, which in my case is 8.59. Hopefully Spotify can fix its own bugs and add new features in future versions, without the app failing as much.

If downloading is a server side thing then taking into account that all the songs that you play are being cached and will be in your phone... Can`t anyone mod it in such a way that we can access those cached files offline?

I'm using 8.59 too. sometimes I get a delay in the artist page but this is an Spotify bug

Hmm.. apparently after few weeks not opening this app my account just gone and cannot restore it. I don`t know if because of this app or from Spotify. Literally after can`t login and tried email login my account just gone.
